On behalf of the MEDCoE Command Group, MG Mike Talley, CSM Victor Laragione, and Mr. J.M. Harmon III, please see the enclosed Patriot Day Message.
“This Sunday, the 21st anniversary of the tragic 9/11 events, we will pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 people who sacrificed their lives for our country and our freedom. This devastating shared experience, which shattered us and changed our lives forever, also brought us together and made us stronger, as individuals and as a nation.”

Led by LTG John R. Evans, Jr., Commanding General, ARNORTH (Fifth Army) and Fort Sam Houston, the post-wide observance is an opportunity to come together to remember the sacrifice of the men and women, in and out of uniform, who gave so much on that fateful day, and during the many days since.
“As we come together next week to honor the memories of those who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, we will stand shoulder to shoulder with our sister services, our local Emergency personnel and First Responders from JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, Bexar County, and the City of San Antonio. Please join me at the Main Post Flagpole as we remember and honor them together.” ~ LTG Evans
