Command Chaplain Section
Welcome
The Command Chaplain Section provides technical supervision, as well as training and guidance, to subordinate Unit Ministry Teams (UMT) within the U.S Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) to ensure that personnel within MEDCoE receive exceptional religious support and spiritual care. The Command Chaplain Section strives to support the Brigade and Battalion UMTs in their daily efforts to provide religious support and spiritual care to the MEDCoE personnel. The Command Chaplain Section also provides advisement to the Command and other leaders on issues related to religion, ethics, morals, and morale contributing to sound judgment and circumspect decisions.

MISSION STATEMENT
The MEDCoE Chaplain Section Mission is to provide comprehensive Religious Support (RS) based on the Army’s People First philosophy across twelve Departments and Directorates, seven Army Medicine Proponency offices, 32d Medical Brigade, and the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (NCOA) by advising the MEDCoE Commanding General on the free exercise of religion and equipping Unit Ministry Teams (UMT) to provide timely and relevant RS within the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) platform to nurture, care for, and honor Soldiers, Families, and DA Civilians.
